What it does

The baseLINE Framework consists of a number of core capabilities. Users can choose capabilities
most relevant to their business from the list below.

Capabilities are delivered via an annual subscription to the services. A group of services make up an
individual capability. A complete list of services can be found here.

baseLINE delivers the following capabilities:

Physical Asset Auditing:
Conduct local in-field asset and attribute validation audits. Add or
delete assets, update asset attributes, manage asset relationships. Access via PC or mobile
devices (laptop, tablet, PDA).

Asset Issuance: Check assets in and out to customers and staff (eg. assign PPE to employees)
or loan/hire assets. Access via PC or external mobile devices (laptop, tablet, PDA).

Asset Tracking: Track an asset in real time through business workflows and from location to location.

Asset Tagging: Order barcodes, RFIDs and microdots through baseLINE.

Advanced Asset Tagging – assetDNA: Use our unique numbering system to identify assets at
an individual level and share information with other users of the same asset globally.

Critical Asset Management: Identify assets that have critical or mandatory maintenance activities
in classified groups and manage those activities as required.

Stock Control and Spares Management: Identify and track consumables used for assets,
whilst providing an indication of stock levels and automatic orders at prescribed reorder points.

Web Asset Management:
Enhance seamless communication and collaboration by providing a
web portal for clients and suppliers to access the asset information.

Maintenance Management:
Create planned maintenance procedures including maintenance triggers,
assign them to assets, and enter maintenance transaction values on completion. Enter defects requiring
corrective maintenance, work requests and work orders. Provides tree view of assets due for maintenance.

Configuration Management:
Assign asset information to a group of assets rather than an individual
asset for greater accuracy and ease of change implementation.

Remote Transactional Data Collection and Management:
Collect transactional asset data from
various sources including asset operational parameters, events and SCADA systems, usually via
PDAs, touch screens and tablets. Determine what data should be collected and set threshold points.

Event Management: Define, plan and schedule events that assets can be allocated to.

Procedure Checklists: Control procedures (eg. maintenance, standard operational procedures) and conduct
them through checklists including step-by-step instructions, using mobile devices or a touch screen interface.

Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and assign risk ratings to assets through likelihood and
consequence selections.

Personnel Management: Manage personnel using assets, including their individual attributes at a
company and department level. Manage personnel training and competency requirements based on
asset issue. Enter and monitor training validity dates.

Personnel Tracking:
Identify personnel movements through predetermined stations with date/time stamps
on their arrival and departure.

Data Integration Management:
Exchange data between baseLINE and third party databases in the format
the receiving database requires.

Document Management: Manage documents within baseLINE including version control and document workflows.

Report Management:
Manage and view reports within baseLINE depending on a user’s requirements.
